Advance English Engineering

Hii !!!!! On September 24th 2014, it is a 6th class in Advanced English Engineering, and we meet Mr. Aji again :D. In the 3rd class, Mr. Aji ask to his student to write a synopsis of Malam Jumat Kliwon. Feby and Endah who are in the same group do their task together. Feby write the synopsis start from the beginning until the middle, and Endah write the synopsis start from the middle until the end of the movie. After they finish the story, they merge their story and the synopsis is done. 

This is the synopsis that have been made by Feby 

Ayu Trisnaningrat is a mystery novelist. She feels that in the middle of writing her novel , She can’t concentrate as usual. So, She consults it with her doctor. The doctor says that she must be calm and relax. After then, Ayu asks Anton, her boy friend to go out of the town and get the inspiration. Anton agrees with that, and they go together. On the journey, they are looking for new road and stopped at a stalemate. They are continuing the journey on foot and find a big house. Ayu says to Anton that She has ever known the house. They enter the house because the door isn’t locked.Ayu is so surprised when She goes into one of the room, there are so many birds. Ayu sees the blood and it disappears soon. She begins to realize that there are strange in that house, but Ayu wants to meet the owner of that house and get some permission. Then they meet a man and ask who is. He says that Raden Ngabey Arya Tejo can permit Ayu to write in that house.Ayu and Anton go to Mr. Raden’s house. They meet Mr. Tomo. He takes care of Mr. Raden. Mr. Raden goes out of his room and he is so surprised when he sees Ayu. Ayu and Anton don’t know why, and then Anton gives a id card to Mr. Tomo. After that, Ayu is permitted to write at that house, then Anton goes home.

At that night, Ayu is dreaming that there are one man and many women that have scary faces come to Ayu and want to catch her, and then Ayu wakes up. Ayu sees a man who is fixing the broken glass. He is Mr. Ardan. Ayu asks why is the glass broken ?and Mr. Ardan answers that may be it is caused by ghost.Ayu is confused with her dream, then She calls the doctor and tells him. The doctor asks Ayu to be calm and don’t worry. After that Ayu hears a sound like a radio. Ayu goes to find and turn it off. In a room, Ayu finds a wedding picture. Ayu back to her room and sees her writing. It’s very dirty. Ayu is wondered who did it.

In the morning, Ayu draws the house. She meets Mr. Ardan and ask him, “Is it a ghost in this home ?”. Then, Mr. Ardan says that Ayu must go out of this home. He wants to kill and rape Ayu. Ayu is surprised and run. Mr. Ardan chases her, but a Sundel Bolong comes to help Ayu and kills Mr.Ardan. At that night, when Ayu sleeps, She sees Mr.Ardan’head on the bed. She is scare and tries to call Anton.

Ayu remembers that Mr.Ardan have ever mentioned the name, it is Karsiman. Ayu meets Karsiman in a chicken coop. She asks Karsiman, why that house is so strange. But suddenly, Karsiman is angry and want to kill Ayu. Ayu go out with her motorcycle but Karsiman tries to chase Ayu. He sees SundelBolong and hits it twice, but then he gets an accident and injured. Seeing karsiman’s accident, Ayu comes back to see him, but Karsiman wakes up and tries to kill Ayu again. Then SundelBolong helps Ayu and kills Karsiman. After that Ayu goes home.

Mr.Tomo visits Ayu to give a news that Anton will come to visit her next week. Finally that night,Mr.Bokir accompanies Ayu .Mr.Bokir and Ayu talk about the life history of Mr.Bokir. Mr.Bokir sings and dances together with Ayu. Mr.Bokir is so surprise when he sees that is not ayu. After then, Sundelbolong comes to Mr.Bokir, so he runs and meet security guard on the street and told the incident then he asked the sequrity guard to accompany him to save Ayu’s home. Sequrity guard ensures that the story from Mr.Bokir about Sundelbolong.When they are dinner, Sundelbolong comes and put their food with maggots.

Looking a woman hangs in the tree, sequrity guard holds her hand and asks her to go to Ayu home. but in the middle of the road, She changes become a skull ghost and she is a Sundel Bolong .Finally sequrity guard goes home and Mr.Bokir meets Ayu to tell about a ghost. Because of fear Mr.Bokir gives up to save Ayu’s home before receive wages. That night ayu imagines about Anton in her bedroom.

In the Morning, Mr.Tomo comes into the house to inform Ayu about Mr.Ardan and Karsiman’s corpse had been found. According Mr.tomo, this is unnatural death because they were killed by Minanti. Ayu also tells him that find a women like her in the house. Anton visits Pak Raden, then Mr.Raden tells that Ayu’s face is same with his wife. She is minanti. He tells about the night when Ayu borns. At that night Minanti gets black magic. So Minanti has a baby of her back and .Minanti died that night. Mr.Raden lefts the baby to an orphanage and intends to take a revenge for the death of Minanti.

The Concubine of Mr.Raden is Roro Kumilah. She comes to Ki Brojo with Ardan and Kasiman. She asks Ki Brojo to kill baby with black magic but Ki Brojo rejects it. But finally Ki Brojo accepts and gives an appeal. When Ki Brojo and Roro Kumilah are in the room, Mr.Raden Aryo Tejo knows it. Then, he shoots them, and they die. Mr. Raden dumps their body in the lake.Ardan and Kasiman knows it, but they keep it a secret.

After know that story from Sundel Bolong, Ayu knows that her mom is Minanti and her father is Mr.RadenAryoTejo. Ayu comes to her father. And Mr.Raden deaths because old age and illness. At that meeting, Mr Aji asks his student to come forward in front of the class. They must tell the movie with their group. the rule is there are 2 student in front of the class, one of them must tell the story in Indonesian, and another student must translate in English without a text. After that, the student that have translated, must tell the next story in Indonesian, and another student must translate it in English without text too. It will do until all groups have come forward.

Mr Aji divides the students become two sections. They are Left Group and Right Group. One by one groups have been come forward. And then Mr.Aji said R2, whoooaaa and it is Feby and Endah.. Endah as the 1st reader, read this story in Indonesian and Feby translate it without a text

After that Feby read the next story and Endah translate it in English

“Ayu sees the blood and it disappears soon”,

All of student have been come forward, but the story doesn’t end. Mr. Aji ask to his student to continue the story. He asks some groups to read the story in Indonesian and another group must translate it. It is continued until time is up. Then, he gives two tasks to the student. They are :

1. Make a interview with a foreigner and ask about the comparison of ICT in Indonesia and another country. After that the foreigner must read the synopsis of Malam Jumat Kliwon that have been made and comment it
2. Make a synopsis of Malam Satu Suro

but that tasks are for two weeks later. Ok, that’s all a story in the 4th meeting in Advanced English Engineering, I’m sorry for all mistake, thanks for reading :D bye bye
